How is ISO 29001 different from ISO 9001?
ISO 29001 includes ISO 9001 and adds oil and gas requirements such as risk assessment, contingency planning, management of change, competence and supplier control.
How does ISO 29001 relate to API Spec Q1 and Q2?
They address similar supply chain expectations for the oil and gas sector, but they are separate documents with separate certification routes. We can map your system to both where customers ask for it.
How long does it take with ISO 9001 already in place?
Typically 3 to 5 months, as the work focuses on the sector additions rather than the full quality system.
